SpaceX nails 1st Space Coast launch, aims for 2nd tonight after Falcon Heavy survives lightning

Yet another day of severe storms rolled through Central Florida on Thursday with lightning striking the launch pad at Kennedy Space Center where SpaceX had its latest Falcon Heavy rocket awaiting launch. Weather threats today were a threat, but SpaceX managed the first of two Space Coast launches with a Falcon 9 mission already aloft, and Falcon Heavy potentially on tap later this evening.
