Does support from conservative groups help — or hurt — in Democratic Broward?

Conservative groups Florida Family Action and Moms for Liberty, along with the Broward Republican Party, are making recommendations to county voters in advance of the Aug. 23 elections and primary contests. Does support from the Republican Party or groups on the political right help or hurt candidates in Broward County, which is overwhelmingly Democratic? One candidate in a hotly contested race is not welcoming the family action group`s `preferred` rating.
