Brightline ramps up: crews to conduct test runs on trains between West Palm Beach and Cocoa

Brightline, the high speed passenger rail company, will soon start live training for locomotive engineers and conductors along the line`s northern extension on a segment between West Palm Beach and Cocoa. The tests, which will start Jan. 17, will be aboard trains with no passengers, and are designed to familiarize crews with crossings, curves, signals and other elements of the Florida East Coast tracks.
