Miami state Senator Annette Taddeo enters Florida governor race

Sen. Annette Taddeo, D-Miami, formally filed papers to run for governor in 2022 on Monday. She enters a Democratic primary that includes Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried and U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist, with whom she ran on the same ticket in 2014 as his pick for lieutenant governor, ultimately losing to Rick Scott.
