What you need to know The Chipolo ONE Spot item tracker is now available for pre-order. Like AirTag, the ONE Spot uses Apple`s Find My network. It`s cheaper than AirTag and has a hole in it! Apple`s AirTag is understandably getting all of the attention right now, but it isn`t the only item tracker in town. Chipolo is one of the first to piggyback off Apple`s Find My network and now it has a new item tracker available for pre-order – Chipolo ONE Spot. Available in black rather than AirTag`s white, the new tags sell for $28 if you just want one and $90 if you want four. That`s cheaper than Apple`s AirTag, although not by much. And while you do get to use Apple`s Find My network and app, you don`t get the precision finding feature because there`s no ultra-wideband chip here. Whether that matters to you, I`m not sure. It might not though, because each ONE Spot comes with a 120dB alarm that will make it easy to hear so long as you`re relatively close to it. That`s something Apple...
