Cook County offers other COVID-19 vaccines to people who signed up for Johnson & Johnson

Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle on Tuesday said she was confident local residents won`t be deterred from getting vaccinated against COVID-19 because they`re worried about the few people who experienced blood clots after getting the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Cook County halted Johnson & Johnson vaccinations, following recommendations from the FDA and CDC after reports of six people experiencing blood clots about two weeks after vaccination.
