Vaccine doses remain in short supply, but Lincoln residents can sign up beginning Wednesday

Matt Olberding Lancaster County trails much of the state in moving to Phase 1B of the COVID-19 vaccination plan, but it is getting ready for when that day comes. Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Director Pat Lopez on Tuesday announced a new online registration tool for people to provide basic information in preparation to receive the vaccine. The registration tool, available on the city`s COVID-19 website at 8 a.m. Wednesday, ensures people will be contacted when vaccine is available, at which time they will be able to sign up for an appointment to get a shot.
