MUMBAI: The cash-strapped state government is examining a proposal to legalise or gaming to mobilise resources and throw a lifebuoy at the worsening . The debt burden of the state has crossed Rs 5.4 lakh crore, and the current year is unlikely to be of much help with the economy having been hit hard by the Covid-19 lockdown since March 25.
