They`re less than a five-minute walk from the Delta Toronto East shelter and in the past five weeks the Scarborough community has witnessed fights on their streets, the constant smell of burning drugs, thefts and vandalism. It`s gotten so bad that the Metrogate community of townhomes and condominiums have formed their community safety group on Facebook and have arranged a meeting with 42 Division (Toronto Police) next Wednesday to address safety concerns.
