Longmont residents seek justice after Honduran immigrant assaulted near Garden Acres on Sunday

A group of Longmont residents is seeking justice for an immigrant from Honduras after he was attacked Sunday near Garden Acres Park. Jorge Rodriguez, 30, reported to Longmont police that he was beaten by a man, and Rodriguez said the assailant yelled, “Get out of our country,” during the assault. Rodriguez is an undocumented immigrant from Honduras who works as a foreman for a construction company. His employer, Jackie Gonzales, saw Rodriguez after the attack.
