The Clawson versus Armada season-opening high school game scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 27, has potentially more twists than a Chubby Checker biopic. It`ll be a return to the football field for Clawson coach Jim Sparks and his Trojans, who rolled through the 2019 season with a 5-0 record in the MAC Bronze Division and a 7-4 overall mark.
