Latest hurricane season outlook calls for 24 named storms, which would make it the second-busiest ever

The hurricane experts at Colorado State University said in their latest forecast for the 2020 season, issued Wednesday, that they expect 24 named storms, 12 hurricanes and five major hurricanes this year. If this proves to be true, 2020 would be the second busiest hurricane season on record.
