Following back-to-back wins that jumped them into the playoff picture, the Morristown Sandlot baseball team had all the confidence and momentum heading into Monday night`s contest between the Hardin Valley Knox Hawks. Unfortunately for the Sandlot though, no one told the Knox Hawks they were supposed to roll over. Thanks to early inning runs and mental mistakes by Morristown, Hardin Valley jumped ahead early and never looked back, taking down the Sandlot, 11-1. “I think we made more errors today than we have all season,” Morristown coach Tim Johnson said. “And we got a lot of runners on and just couldn`t capitalize.
