Georgia has published a Technical Regulation on batteries and battery waste management based on the EU Battery Directive. It will enter into force on September 1, 2020. The Technical Regulation is modeled on Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments (consolidated version to July 2018 for reference) in the European Union (EU).
