NCR lockdown: Delhi-Noida flyway witnesses long snarls

NOIDA: Long snarls were witnessed during peak hours at the Delhi-Noida Direct (DND) Flyway on Tuesday due to heavy traffic flow and commuters queuing up at the toll plaza where cops resorted to strict checking of e-passes even as they used three out of the eight lanes on Delhi-Noida side for the commuters. While junior officers said there was not enough staff at the DND to manage more than three lanes, senior police officers told TOI that enough staff was provided to the Sector 20 police station whose force manages the deployment at the border.
