Sale of nursery pots made prison inmates opened

MADURAI: Deputy inspector general of police (prisons) D Pazhani on Wednesday inaugurated sale of nursery pots manufactured by Madurai Central Prison inmates. The price of the concrete pots is 40% less than those available in market. The pots are available in three sizes, and they are priced at Rs 70, 60 and 50. When procured in mass quantities, they would cost Rs 10 less, officials said....
