PlayStation reportedly hit with layoffs in Europe, Xbox offers positions

A report from Video Games Chronicle states that Sony Interactive Entertainment has laid off `dozens` of employees from its European division. These layoffs were announced internally at the same time as the PlayStation 5 news that was released via PlayStation Blog and an interview with Wired. It appears to be part of a major restructuring of the entire division.
