MetroHealth transfers skilled nursing patients to other nursing homes to free beds for coronavirus patients

CLEVELAND, Ohio - About 100 residents and patients of MetroHealth System´s Elisabeth Severance Prentiss Center for Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation are being transferred to other nursing homes in the area to free up space for COVID-19 patients, the system said Thursday. The move creates 130 to 150 free beds that can be used for COVID-19 patients who don´t require high levels of care, MetroHealth said.
