Farewell to people with Oklahoma ties who enjoyed the game day experience: Jim Solly, 49, of Holly Springs, North Carolina. He played the 1992-94 seasons with the Oklahoma City Blazers of the reborn Central Hockey League. Solly, who was killed in an auto crash on Feb. 5, was a hard-charging left winger drafted in 1989 by the Winnipeg Jets. He arrived in OKC after four years playing college hockey at Bowling Green State. Solly had 33 goals and 69 points in 115 games for the reborn Blazers, who enjoyed success on and off the ice.
