Shorthanded Lobo women expect to bounce back

A leaner but undeterred University of New Mexico women’s basketball team went back to work Monday. The Lobos, who visit San Jose State for a matinee game Wednesday, were all about business and preparation after a difficult weekend. UNM announced Saturday that sophomore Jayla Everett left the team and intended to transfer, hours before a 68-51 home loss to UNLV.
