Ranchi: The year 2019 will be a memorable one for youngsters born in 2000 or in 2001 as they will be the first ones born in the state of Jharkhand to vote for the assembly election after it was carved out of Bihar in 2000. According to the information provided by the office of the chief electoral officer of Jharkhand, the number of electors between the ages of 18 and 19 is around 4.2 lakhs.
