TOP PICKS LEWISTON LAKE: The lake is in spectacular conditions right now with the changing colors and beautiful weather, making it a perfect fall fishing destination with some of the other trout fisheries nearing their closure. The fly bite is still good with midges, woollybuggers, and nymphs. The upper dam has been producing the best numbers of good-sized trout for bank, boat, and fly fishermen all the way down to Pine Cove Marina and across the way at Lake View Terrace. Bank anglers are fishing the Lewiston Cocktail, (two red and one white Berkley Power Eggs), or a nightcrawler and a white Power Ball, or simple white Power Bait.
