They`re no longer hidden under the `Advanced` section. What you need to know Google is considering a minor redesign to the settings page for the Chrome browser. It will no longer hide privacy and security settings under the `Advanced` pane and feature them more prominently among other settings. It`s perhaps a result of the increasingly more important role privacy and security are playing in conversations surrounding tech. A new flag in the Canary builds for Chrome is set to make privacy and security settings more easily accessible by users (via Techows). Currently, these settings are hidden under the `Advanced` section of the browser`s settings page. Google is looking to move them out of there and to place them next to more `basic` settings like the browser`s theme and startup behaviour.
