SPD partners with Gateway Foundation for Safe Passage program

After years of research, the Springfield Police Department announced Thursday a partnership with Gateway Foundation to launch the Safe Passage Initiative that helps individuals with drug or alcohol addiction.A person can be referred to the program or can self-refer to it, said Springfield Police Chief Kenny Winslow.
