Infill using ADUs? Chico Housing Committee discusses possibilities

CHICO — “Today´s emphasis will be on infill,â€� said Councilor Karl Ory, as he brought to order the fourth meeting of the city’s new housing committee. The committee was established in September to explore options in the city to encourage housing, as the area begins to deal with the consequences of a massive influx of people following the Camp Fire in November. Since then, it has held multiple meetings with developers and residents, as well as a housing conference in September that focused on these issues and was well-received by many in the community.
