HELLENIC REPUBLIC HELLENIC STATISTICAL AUTHORITY Piraeus, 8 October 2019 PRESS RELEASE COMMERCIAL TRANSACTIONS OF GREECE : August 2019 ( Provisional Data ) The total value of imports-arrivals, in August 2019 amounted to 4,109.2 million euros (4,558.1 million dollars) in comparison with 4,326.6 million euros (4,981.6 million dollars) in August 2018, recording a drop, in euros, of 5.0%. The corresponding value excluding oil products in August 2019 recorded an increase of 83.3 million euros or 2.9% and the corresponding value excluding oil products and ships in August 2019 recorded a drop of 92.2 million euros or 3.2%, in comparison with August 2018 (Table 1).
