Cape Nature Center announces October programs, including a Fall Festival

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Missouri Department of Conservation`s (MDC) Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center has a full schedule of programs planned for October. Some programs require registration in advance, so Nature Center Manager Sara Turner said it`s important guests familiarize themselves with MDC`s event website for the center at mdc.mo.gov/southeastevents. Turner said the biggest event in October will be the Fall Festival, Saturday, Oct. 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. Guests can expect a Trek N` Treat Trail where they will meet our creature characters on the trail, misunderstood animals who seem spooky but are not such as snakes and bats.
