Older people and dementia patients should re-watch classic rugby matches to stimulate their memories, an NHS official has said today. Professor Alistair Burns, NHS England`s director of dementia, argued reliving tense moments can revive `powerful memories that strengthen brain activity`. His comments come ahead of the opening ceremony and first match of the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan, which kicks off today.
