NMAA not ready to reclassify, but Los Lunas plans to move up

There will be movement, both up and down - but the details will have to wait for another couple of months. Looking ahead to the two-year block encompassing 2020-21 and 2021-22 for the state’s high school athletic programs, the New Mexico Activities Association’s board of directors began the process of talking about realignment and classification at their first meeting of the school year on Wednesday morning in Albuquerque.
