Houston´s food scene changes at a breakneck pace, and this week is no exception. Closures, openings and pop-ups keep Houston restaurants from growing stale in this week´s restaurant roundup. The Owl Bar, a nearly decade-old bar located at 2221 W. Alabama St. in Upper Kirby, is closing. The bar`s last day of operations will be Thursday, Aug. 29, according to a statement it posted on Facebook. The owners have sold the property to a local group, per media reports, but declined to name the buyer.... ......
