Activists Criticize UN Silence As Turkey Deports Syrian Refugees

Thousands of unregistered Syrian migrants are facing a deadline to leave Istanbul for the province they are registered in, but many activists claim they are being deported back to Idlib, Syria, where fighting has escalated this past week, according to The Guardian. Many are also claiming they were forced to sign voluntary return documents by Turkish officials, even though they can`t read or understand the language.
