Remember when Avatar was the highest grossing movie of all time? Before Avengers: Endgame toppled James Cameron`s 2009 sci-fi movie, Avatar was the champion of the box office, bringing in $2.7 billion worldwide. It was a cultural phenomenon, and people wanted more, at the time.However, a decade later, sequels to Avatar still haven`t hit theaters, though there are plenty planned.
