EU Scientists Testing `Self-Healing` Robots

A European commission-funded project is working to help craft robots with soft hands made from a unique plastic that could be widely catered to human needs, according to The Guardian. Scientists at the Free University of Brussels and the University of Cambridge said they were hoping to craft the `self-healing` robots using sensors that would mimic the feeling of pain or the ability to sense incoming damage to repair themselves without needing human assistance.
