Austria`s Interior Ministry announced the Supreme Court sided with Vienna in the three-year legal battle over the birthplace of Adolf Hitler on Monday, according to Deutsche Welle. Hitler was born in an apartment in the town of Braunau am Inn, near the border with Germany, in 1889. The Nazis bought the property after coming into power and used it as a fascist center for their operations in Austria. After the war, the apartment building was returned to the original owners and has been since used as a library, a technical school, and even a center for the disabled.
