Video: Frying eggs with ARRI Fresnel lights

It´s not news that still and motion picture lighting gets hot on set. But just how hot can certain lighting get? Based on a recent video from Sweet Lou Photography, it´s now clear that ARRI´s Fresnel lights aren´t just great for high-quality lighting, but can also serve as a means to cook your breakfast if need be. As if the subject matter didn´t give it away, this little project is part of Lou´s `Stupid Photo Challenge´ series. Throughout the 14-minute video, Sweet Lou tests an ARRI 150, ARRI 300 and ARRI 650 to see how they stack up against each other when it comes to frying an egg. We won´t spoil to results, but it´s safe to say if you´re ever hungry on-set and happen to have any of these lights on hand, with enough patience (and a frying pan on hand), you shouldn´t have a problem getting some protein in your system.
