Punjab CM Amarinder Singh accepts Navjot Singh Sidhu´s resignation

An official spokesperson from Punjab CM`s office confirmed on Saturday that Captain Amarinder Singh accepted Navjot Singh Sidhu`s resignation and forwarded it to governor VP Singh Badnore. Sidhu, who has been at loggerheads with Amarinder Singh, was stripped-off key portfolios in the Punjab cabinet reshuffle on June 6 and had not taken charge of his new assignment.
