Warren, Sanders seek review of Sinclair buy of Disney Fox regional sports networks

Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and Cory Booker are teaming up to ask the Federal Communications Commission and the Department of Justice to review Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc.`s pending purchase of 21 regional sports networks originally owned by Fox. Sinclair (Nasdaq: SBGI), a conservative-leaning media conglomerate and largest owner of local television stations in the country, last month agreed to buy the regional sports networks, or RSNs, from Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS) for $10.6 billion.... ......
