`KU Leuven is there for its alumni, and our alumni are there for KU Leuven.` That`s the intriguing catchphrase that characterises the KU Leuven policy towards its graduates, according to Vice Rector Peter Lievens and Baron Frans van Daele. The former is responsible for the alumni policy, the latter is the chair of Alumni Lovanienses vzw. Both have a leading role in developing a contemporary, future-oriented alumni outreach for 300,000 alumni.
