Hit with numerous injuries, the Sharks went into Game 6 against the St. Louis Blues with bleak prospects. Down center Tomas Hertl, defenseman Erik Karlsson and Joe Pavelski, San Jose put up a fight for most of the game, trying to keep it close and send the series back for a decisive Game 7 at home. The Sharks had their chances with rookie Dylan Gambrell, scoring a goal in the second period, but San Jose was eventually overwhelmed.
