`American Idol´ finalist Alejandro Aranda gets hometown love at Pomona watch party

Enthusiastic Pomona resident Lorraine Flores held up a poster board and proclaimed she had what she dubbed as the `Alejandro epidemic.` She couldn´t get enough of Alejandro Aranda, the Pomona native who had made it to the “American Idolâ€� finale Sunday. Flores and more than 100 `Alejomies` came out to the Fox Theater for a three-hour watch party of the grand finale of the reality singing competition. The crowd erupted into cheers every time Aranda was mentioned or when he performed. More than an hour into the show, fans had another reason to cheer as Aranda made it to the top two.
