Retail sales rise up 1.9% in April, according to the ICVA The sales in the Brazilian retail market increased by 1.9% in April, less inflation, compared to the same month of last year, according to the Cielo Broad Retail Index (ICVA). In nominal terms, which reflect the sales revenues effectively accrued by the retailers, the ICVA increased by 7.2%. The calendar positively impacted the results in the month.
