Atiq Ahmad shifted to Naini jail

BAREILLY: The state government has shifted gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmad to Naini (Prayagraj) central jail on health grounds. The government had taken prior permission from the Election Commission for the transfer after Ahmad´s wife requested the state government to shift him to Naini prison. District jail superintendent, UP Mishra, said that after receiving orders from EC and the state government, they sent Ahmad to Naini prison in high security on Friday night.
