BENGALURU: Family members of a 30-year-old Bengalurean working on a merchant navy ship have said the youth and his 20 colleagues have been detained allegedly by the Egyptian navy after seizing their vessel in December. According to family members of Charan Krishnan Venugopal, the detainees include five Indians. They are now stranded on the ship at Berenice port, with water and food in short supply.
