The Raptors got into one of those slow, tough, half-court NBA playoff games that good teams have to deal with in the post-season, and that they knew was coming.They didn’t handle it well.D.J. Augustin drilled a three-pointer with 3.4 seconds left in the fourth quarter to give the Orlando Magic a 104-101 upset victory over Toronto at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday, giving the No. 7 seeds a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.Augustin, who torched Toronto for 25 points, got just enough separation for an open look as he made his fourth three-pointer of the game.A Kawhi Leonard three-point attempt with less than a second left fell short and the Raptors dropped the opening game of a playoff series for the 10th time in 11 series all-time.Leonard finished with 25 points and Pascal Siakam 24 for the Raptors, who just couldn’t get untracked offensively.The game was played almost entirely at a pace much better suited to the Magic than the Raptors, who were unable to get out in transition. And with Kyle Lowry suffering through one of the worst playoff shooting games imaginable — 0-for-7 from the field including six missed three-pointers — the Raptors could not get any offensive flow going.Evan Fournier had 16 points for Orlando, and Terrence Ross had 10.Without regular rotation forward OG Anunoby, out indefinitely after an emergency appendectomy, the Raptors were forced to improvise. Coach Nick Nurse said he’d use Serge Ibaka and Leonard at that spot at times, and also held up Chris Boucher as a possible emergency fill-in.But with so much time between games — two days before Game 2, two more between Games 2 and 3 — the need isn’t exactly acute.“There’s (Boucher) and there’s maybe another guy or two, (but) in a perfect world we’re using our main guys and don’t get in any emergency-type situations.
