From Harbor to Austria: Odawa art survives, on display in museum

Native American artwork and items - dating back to the 1820s - have survived through the trials of time and have found themselves on display in Vienna, Austria, for the world to see. The items tell the story of Northern Michigan Native Americans - now known as the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians - and their trials, tribulations and successes as a surviving and nationally recognized tribe.
