AIMIM to stay out of poll fray in Thane and Kalyan

THANE: The third front coalition of Prakash Ambedkar and Asaduddin Owaisi will not field any candidate in the Thane Lok Sabha constituency, despite a sizeable presence of the dalit and Muslim voters in the suburban townships extending from Thane-Mira Road. The two leaders forged a pre-poll alliance last month and calling it a Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) and rejected the overtures of the Congress-NCP to team up with them.
