An Amber Alert has been issued after police say a father abducted his 5-year-old daughter from her classroom in Markham Tuesday afternoon.York Region police say Soloman Jaffri, 25, took Jannah Jaffri from Armadale Public School, near McCowan Rd. and Elson St., at about 3 p.m. on Tuesday and left in a minivan taxi, last seen headed north on Coppard Ave.Soloman Jaffri is not supposed to have access to his daughter, police said.Jaffri is described as a six-foot-one, 25-year-old male with brown skin, an average build, short brown hair and a tattoo that says “Jannah” on his right arm. He was last seen wearing a navy blue dress coat and black cargo pants.His daughter is described as four-foot, with brown skin, light brown, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.
