CBSE launches podcast on initiatives

CHENNAI: Podcasting is becoming one of the most widely used mediums to disseminate information. Keeping up with the trend, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has adopted it to keep schools, teachers and students informed about its latest initiatives and learning processes. On Monday, the board launched its new podcast platform, CBSE - Shiksha Vani, to provide easy access to information on educational tools and initiatives that will enhance learning. `Since it is in the initial stages, we have to wait and see how well it is used and then take it forward,` said K Srinivasan, regional officer of CBSE.
