The United Nations released a report on Tuesday which said less than five percent of refugees in need of resettlement in Western countries were able to find homes last year after the United States took a major step back from accepting displaced people under President Donald Trump, according to Reuters. The U.S. took in 17,113 resettled refugees in 2018, but that was down from 24,559 resettled refugees in 2017, the first year Trump was in office.
