Food fish production from domestic aquaculture increased by 11% in 2017

Press release: 11.929-240/18 Vienna, 2018-12-18 - In 2017, 482 active fish farms in Austria produced in total 3 866 tonnes of food fish. Compared to 2016, this means an increase of domestic aquaculture production by 10.9%, as Statistics Austria reports. Production increases have been recorded for almost all fish species surveyed in the food fish sector.
